Day 2 - Arrive Athens (2 nights) You are met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Drink with our Tour Director.

Day 3 - Athens sightseeing & at leisure We enjoy a morning walking tour of the Acropolis and Parthenon. We also see the Agora, Royal Palace, the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, and the stadium built for the first modern Olympics in 1896 before we enjoy free time. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - Athens – Nauplia We drive to the bridge across the Corinth Canal. Then we visit the remains of the ancient city of Corinth, en route to Mycenae, to see the Beehive Tombs, the Treasury of Atreus, Lion Gate and remains of Agamemnon’s Royal Palace. On to the Sanctuary of Aesculapius, God of Medicine, to visit the amphitheater. Finally, we arrive in Nauplia. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 5 - Nauplia – Olympia Today we drive through the Mountains of Arcadia to Olympia, where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 BC. Next we stroll around the ancient Olympic stadium and the Temples of Zeus and Hera on our visit of this archaeological site. Tonight we dine at our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Olympia – Delphi We head to Patras and take the bridge across the Gulf of Corinth to mainland Greece. Then on to Delphi on the slopes of mighty Mount Parnassus, home of the Oracle. We walk the Sacred Way to the Sanctuary of Apollo and visit this ancient archaeological site. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Delphi – Kalambaka A picturesque morning drive brings us to Thermopylae, famous for the heroic defense by Leonidas and his brave Spartans against the invading Persians. After seeing the memorial, we cross the fertile Thessaly region, the ‘bread basket of ancient Greece’ and continue on to our hotel in Kalambaka. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 - Kalambaka – Athens We visit two of the monasteries of Meteora, perched high above the town. Then a scenic drive brings us back to the fascinating capital of Greece, Athens. Why not join your travelling companions for a celebration dinner on the final night of your memorable tour together? (Buffet breakfast)

Day 9 - Embark Piraeus We are transferred to Piraeus. We board our ship and cruise to Turkey. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 12 - At Sea – Mykonos Relax and enjoy the facilities as we cruise to Mykonos. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 13 - Patmos – Kusadasi An early arrival at Patmos. Then we cruise to Turkish Kusadasi arriving mid-afternoon. (Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 14 - Rhodes An early arrival at Rhodes. Time to explore the old town and Lindos.
Day 15 - Agios Nikolaos – Santorini An early arrival at Agios Nikolaos on the Island of Crete, with a cruise to Santorini. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 16 - Disembarkation – Athens An early arrival at Piraeus. Time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)

London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the airport and your London hotel. But when you book your Trafalgar tour and take advantage of our land and air packages, we have included a FREE transfer to and from London’s airports and your Trafalgar London hotel. For passengers who have their own flight arrangements we offer you the opportunity to purchase inexpensive transfers to and from London’s Heathrow – Trafalgar has negotiated special rates for the Dot2Dot transfer from London’s Heathr
Important – Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
For included transfers: Your flights must be booked directly by Trafalgar no fewer than 21 days prior to departure. For chargeable transfers: Your Travel Agent provides detailed flight information to Trafalgar no fewer than 21 days prior to departure. Once transfers are booked they cannot be changed.
For London arrivals, you must stay at a London hotel booked by Trafalgar on the night of arrival and the night prior to your departure date.
Trafalgar only includes one inbound and one outbound transfer.
In the event of flight delays outside of Trafalgar’s control, the transfers will be deemed to be cancelled.
All transfers are based on group transfers. No refund is therefore available for missed transfers, or passengers not using this service.
In the event of unforeseen events (such as road or rail works, strikes or demonstrations), Trafalgar will not be responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
Heathrow Airport: National Express Dot2Dot will pick up and drop off in time to meet all flights to/from London’s Heathrow Airport. For guests arriving at the Dot2Dot desk after 22.00 hrs please make use of the courtesy phone to arrange your transfer to your Trafalgar hotel
Gatwick Airport Passengers who have booked Trafalgar’s Land and Air packages arriving at London’s Gatwick Airport are provided with a Gatwick Express train voucher. The Gatwick Express train journey from Gatwick Airport to London’s Victoria Station takes 30 minutes. Guests then need to make their way from Victoria Station to their Trafalgar hotel.
European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who book Trafalgar''s Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar.
