This Fall, some of the world’s newest and largest cruise ships with ultra-deluxe onboard amenities and features will be departing from Florida ports on itineraries to the many beautiful, tropical Caribbean islands.

The Newest Ships Sailing to the Caribbean:

Oasis of the Seas – (Royal Caribbean)

Not only is Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, the Oasis of the Seas, the biggest cruise ship in the world, but the 220,000-ton, 5,400-passenger ship boasts never-before-seen at-sea features onboard. With seven distinct neighborhoods including Central Park, the Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, and the Pool and Sports Zone, the possibilities for fun onboard are endless for America’s Vacation Center guests. The ship will also feature the first-ever ‘loft cabins’ with double height ceilings and panoramic views of the ocean.

America’s Vacation Center customers can receive up to $50 Shipboard Credit on select itineraries to spend onboard the Oasis of the Seas, which will offer Caribbean sailings out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, beginning December 2009.

Celebrity Equinox – (Celebrity Cruises)

As one of Celebrity Cruises’ impressive Solstice Class ships, the 122,000-ton Celebrity Equinox will wow America’s Vacation Center customers with a unique cruise experience. Guests can play bocce ball and picnic on the half-acre authentic lawn, savor delicious meals at the ship’s 10 new dining facilities and restaurants, and relax in the luxurious AquaSpa by Elemis. Unrivaled in guest services and shining in sophistication, the Celebrity Equinox will exceed America’s Vacation Center customers’ expectations.

Carnival Dream – (Carnival Cruises)

Carnival Cruises’ largest ‘Fun Ship’ ever built, the Carnival Dream, is a 130,000-ton, 3,652-passenger ship. America’s Vacation Center guests can enjoy exciting features designed with fun in mind, such as the Carnival WaterWorks aqua park, whirlpools that extend beyond the ship’s beam, live entertainment at The Piazza, and more!

The Carnival Dream will begin sailing year-round from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Caribbean itineraries in December 2009.

Seabourn Odyssey – (Seabourn Cruises)

With 225 oceanview cabins, 90% private balcony cabins, and various inviting venues, Seabourn Cruises’ new Seabourn Odyssey offers outstanding accommodations and activities onboard for each privileged guest.

In November 2009, the Seabourn Odyssey will begin a series of Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Silver Spirit – (Silversea Cruises)

America’s Vacation Center guests will enjoy the distinctive European styling and uncompromising service onboard Silversea Cruises’ largest ship, the Silver Spirit. The ship boasts novel features including the 8,300-square-foot indoor / outdoor Spa at Silversea, six delectable restaurants, and balconies on 95% of all cabin accommodations.

The Silver Spirit’s Grand Inaugural Voyage departs from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in January 2010. After completing her first season, the Silver Spirit will offer Fall and Winter Caribbean cruises.
