Kids

Passengers under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or over. Uniworld notes that most young children do not enjoy the Uniworld experience, and though they are allowed onboard, there are no special activities or arrangements to accommodate them. Uniworld does offer “family cruises” on select itineraries during the Summer months.

Gratuity / Tipping

On Uniworld’s ships in Egypt, there is a suggested $2-$3 USD per day, per person for the local guide, and $1-$2 USD for the driver. At the end of each trip there are two envelopes, one for the crew and the other for the tour manager. Uniworld’s suggestion for tips at the end of the cruise is $4 USD for the tour manager and $6 USD for the crew, per person, per day. Only cash is accepted as tips.
