With 66 all river-view cabins across two decks and room for 128 passengers, the sleek River Ambassador offers an incredible way to see Europe. Along the Danube, Maine, and Rhine rivers, guests will love panoramic views while dining, well-furnished cabins, prevalent entertainment options, and more. On all Uniworld river cruises in Europe, guests enjoy a true destination-focused experience, with one complimentary shore excursion per person at each unforgettable stop along the way.
As on all of Uniworld’s ships in Europe, the River Ambassador offers complimentary wine, beer, and sodas with dinner, bottled water, gourmet coffee, and optional al fresco dining. The Restaurant onboard the River Ambassador is open seating and features extravagant locally-inspired cuisine as well as selections from various regions.
Each of the River Ambassador’s 66 river-view cabins comes complete with a vanity and make-up mirror, generous built-in closets, a hair dryer, a safe, individual air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, and a flat screen TV. The River Ambassador’s cabins are complete with hotel-style bedding, 100% Egyptian cotton linens, European comforters and private bathrooms including thick cotton towels, aromatherapy bath amenities, and plush terry cloth robes. There are three categories of cabins, however there are no suites, singles, or triples.
The lounge area features occasional entertainment from local performers and musicians, and there are plenty of enrichment lectures and demonstrations to intrigue your intellect as well. The sun deck, library, and game room are also popular locations onboard the River Ambassador which deliver hours of entertainment for guests. At each stop along the way, Uniworld provides bicycles for complimentary checkout, providing an alternative to exploration by vehicle or foot.
Although there is a game room onboard, there is no casino option onboard the River Ambassador.
For passengers seeking to maintain a consistent workout regimen, there is a state-of-the-art fitness facility onboard the River Ambassador, complete with various cardio equipment and workout space.

Passengers under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or over. Uniworld notes that most young children do not enjoy the Uniworld experience, and though they are allowed onboard, there are no special activities or arrangements to accommodate them. Uniworld does offer “family cruises” on select itineraries during the Summer months.
Guests will enjoy shopping in the boutique for gifts and keepsakes while onboard the River Ambassador.
Dress onboard is typically resort casual, with the exception of a few formal events which require coat and tie for men and cocktail attire for women.
On Uniworld’s ships in Europe, there is a suggested 2-3 euro per day, per person for the local guide, and 1-2 euro for the driver. At the end of each trip there are two envelopes, one for the crew and the other for the tour manager. Uniworld’s suggestion for tips at the end of the cruise is 3 euro for the tour manager and 10 euro for the crew, per person, per day. Only cash is accepted as tips.
