Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas will offer guests even more choices with this record breaking, magnificent new ship. Oasis of the Seas, a 220,000 gross ton ship accommodating 5,400 passengers on 16 decks, will debut in December 2009 and will be the world’s largest cruise ship at sail. Oasis of the Seas will present many at-sea “firsts” for guests including the first carousel at sea, first AquaTheatre with spectacular high diving performances, and the first open-air Central Park; a replica of New York City’s famous Central Park. The highlight of this Royal Caribbean cruise ship is the seven distinctly designed neighborhoods including Central Park, the Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, the Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, the Entertainment Place, and the Youth Zone, all offering a unique experience. The Oasis cruise ship will set sail from her homeport of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, beginning service in the Caribbean.
