Legend of the Seas

First of the Vision class ships, Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas debuted May 16, 1995, weighing 70,000 gross tons and entertaining up to 2,076 guests. Royal Caribbean International designed the Vision class ships for further, worldwide destinations, building them slightly smaller than the previous Sovereign class ships, but far more luxurious. Legend of the Seas introduced the popular 9-hole mini-golf course, as well as the impressive adults-only indoor/outdoor pool in a Solarium equipped with a retractable roof and surrounded by glass.

This Royal Caribbean cruise ship features a stunning Centrum; a seven-deck high, open atrium filled with shopping and glass elevators. Legend of the Seas also offers guests four whirlpools, a rock-climbing wall, a spa and fitness center, elegant glass-walled dining rooms, a theatre and cinema, and the signature Viking Crown Lounge. Legend of the Seas is the most traveled ship in the Royal Caribbean cruise line having been stationed all over the world for the last fourteen years. Royal Caribbean cruises aboard Legend of the Seas sail worldwide itineraries including Mediterranean and Europe cruises, as well as cruises to the Middle East. Starting 2010, the Legend of the Seas cruise ship will be stationed in Asia on a year-round basis, stopping at remarkable destinations.
