Freedom of the Seas - Freedom Family
Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas cruise ship set sail for the Caribbean in June 2006 packed with spectacular features. The Royal Caribbean International masterpiece comes complete with a rock-climbing wall, FlowRider surf park, Royal Promenade, ice-skating rink, and more. Freedom of the Seas also includes extensive WiFi capabilities and connectivity for cell phones as well as flat-screen TVs in every cabin. Royal Caribbean ships have it all to keep you entertained - What else could you possibly want on a cruise ship?
Dining on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas cruise ship is as exciting as every other aspect of life onboard. There are so many different dishes and enticing atmospheres to experience you won't know where to start: pasta at Portofino, classic burgers from Johnny Rockets, gourmet five-course meals in the main dining room. In addition, you'll find low-fat ShipShape Day Spa menus, kids' menus, and, if you arrange in advance, kosher menus.
Main Dining Room
The elegant main dining rooms are a great place to start the morning off right or finish off a fabulous day with a five-course meal.
Windjammer
Enjoy spectacular buffets and incredible views. The casual convenience of the Windjammer Café and the wide variety on the menu give this restaurant great reviews from guests.
Portofino
Enjoy a delicious Italian meal in an intimate and romantic setting. From classic Italian dishes to new creations, the menu has something for everyone.
Chops Grille
This classic chophouse offers fabulous steaks and seafood dishes. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion, or just another perfect day of vacation.
Johnny Rockets
Get the family together for good old-fashioned burgers and fries. With its retro décor and classic all-American menu, Johnny Rockets is like the 1950s all over again.
Café Promenade
Grab a slice of pizza or a quick sandwich, or enjoy the popular favorites, Seattle's Best Coffee® and on some ships, Ben & Jerry's® ice cream. You'll find Café Promenade in the middle of the action on the Royal Promenade.
Latte-tudes
Relax with a frothy cup of cappuccino and a light snack while you watch the world go by in Latté-tudes, Freedom of the Seas' modern-day coffee bar.
Ben & Jerry's
Stop by Ben & Jerry's ice cream for cool treats in a rotating selection of fabulous flavors. Chill out with a frozen drink or sample from up to 16 different flavors as part of the sundae of your dreams.
Room Service
With so much to do all day, you may just forget to eat. Not a problem. Room service is complimentary for all guests and is available 24 hours a day.

Freedom of the Seas has designed every cabin to be a comfortable, relaxing place for you to rest after your adventures. The cabins vary by ship, but every room offers a television, telephone, private bath, shower, vanity and even a hair-dryer.
With four main categories of cabins you can choose a specific room-type to fit your needs.
Suite/Deluxe
Relax in luxury in comfortable suites. Most offer multiple rooms, balconies, and some even offer complimentary concierge service.
Balcony
Open your private balcony and take in the beautiful view. It's a great way to get close to every destination and make the most of your vacation at sea.
Oceanview
You'll never miss a moment of the breathtaking scenery just outside your window in these ocean view rooms.
Interior
Relax in all the comfort of our interior cabins. These nicely appointed rooms are an excellent value.
The gorgeous view isn't the only thing that will dazzle you onboard the Freedom of the Seas cruise ship. See a contemporary musical stage production or catch a live band. Or be part of the fun with ballroom dancing lessons, ice-skating, or miniature golf. Then you can write home to tell everyone about it from our Internet Café.

Studio B

We consider our Casino RoyaleSM to be a little bit of Vegas, a little bit of Monte Carlo and a lot of Royal Caribbean fun. We've got games for all levels of players. There are onboard lessons for novice players and tournaments for the more advanced. Casino Royale is open whenever you are sailing, so stop in and try your luck!
Casinos Onboard
Every one of our cruise ships features an exciting casino, packed with interesting artwork, all types of table games, slot machines, and much, much more. Our slot machines accept $0.25 USD, $0.50 USD, $1 USD, and $5 USD. You can check out the number of tables and machines we feature in each of our casinos by choosing a ship below. However, we are always updating our casinos, so the exact number may change over time.
Tournaments
Try your luck in one of our Blackjack or Slots tournaments on most sailings.

Fun isn't just for adults at Royal Caribbean. We offer exciting programs for guests of all ages, starting at just 6 months old! And you can feel confident leaving your children, over three years of age, with us because every member of our staff holds a college degree in education or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children.
From 6-36 months of age, our tiniest guests and their parents are invited to participate in the Fisher-Price Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots Programs. Developed by Fisher-Price exclusively for Royal Caribbean International, these activities are hosted by trained youth staff. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during activity sessions.
Kids from 3-17 may take part in our complimentary Adventure Ocean® Youth Program. Adventure Ocean was specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. To participate in our Adventure Ocean programs, children must be three years of age and potty-trained (diaper and pull-up free).

Guests Ages 15-17 Years
Teens 15-17 years of age can play games and sports, join parties and contests, hang out at our teen lounge, The Living Room, or dance the night away at Fuel, our teen-only club.

There are three distinct types of evenings onboard: casual, smart casual and formal.
Suggested guidelines for these nights are:
Casual:
Sport shirts and slacks for men, sundresses or pants for women
Smart Casual:
Jackets and ties for men, dresses or pantsuits for women
Formal:
Suits and ties or tuxedos for men, cocktail dresses for women
3 to 4-night cruises include one formal night and two or three casual nights.
5 -night cruises include one formal and four casual nights.
7 to 9-night cruises include two formal nights, one smart casual night and four or six casual nights.
10 to 13-night cruises include two formal nights, two smart casual nights, and six or nine casual nights.
14+ -night cruises include three formal nights and four smart casual nights. All other nights are casual.
So that you can thank those who have made your cruise vacation better than you could have imagined, we've developed these gratuity guidelines:

Note: These gratuities apply to guests of all ages.
Gratuities for other service personnel are at your discretion. A 15% gratuity will automatically be added to your bar bill or wine check when you are served.
Envelopes for gratuities will be provided in your cabin on the last night of the cruise.
