The first of the Oceania Cruises ‘Oceania Class’, the Marina cruise ship is scheduled to launch in January 2011 and will be the biggest Oceania ship to date weighing 66 tons and carrying over 1,200 passengers. In addition to the size increase, the Marina will also feature an array of restaurants, the most anticipated of which is Jacques, a French Bistro named after its designer and head chef, the world renowned Jacques Pepin. The Marina ship will also feature the line’s first Asian-inspired restaurant, Red Ginger, along with various other dining options that carry on Oceania Cruises’ commitment to fine dining which aims to exceed the expectations of even the most discerning guests.
Oceania Cruises continues to offer enrichment opportunities and programs for travelers, and on every Oceania Marina cruise guests will be able to take advantage of one of the largest culinary arts centers at sea. On each sailing, guests can enjoy classes and workshops in the culinary center and will have access to 22 food preparation stations and every ingredient and resource necessary to create their own savory selections. Though the Oceania Marina is larger than her sister ships, Regatta, Insignia, and Nautica, Oceania Cruises has used the additional space to further enhance the accommodations onboard Marina cruises and increase the service, attention, and quality that has made the line famous.
