Featuring many of the same popular public spaces as Crystal Harmony and Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity also serves up innovation in the form of new dining venues like Tastes, Silk Road and The Sushi Bar, The Studio, and 85% of cabins with private verandahs.
Crystal Serenity Features
More space per guest than any ship in its class
Complimentary bottled water, soft drinks and specialty coffees
Large state-of-the-art Feng Shui spa
Aveda products in all cabins
85% verandah cabins and 100 penthouse suites with verandahs

For dining throughout the day, Crystal offers a variety of delectable choices. Lido Café features a casual ambiance with breathtaking ocean views, and the buffet-style indoor/outdoor café offers both Early-and Late-Riser Breakfast, as well as late-morning bouillon service and luncheon buffets.
Daytime snacks, a lunchtime hamburger/hot dog grill, sandwiches, specialty burgers and a full bar are available at the Trident Bar & Grill. During your cruise, you will be treated to several special buffets that might include Asia Café, Cuisine of the Sun, Latino Nuevo and American Classic. For your sweet tooth, ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbets and freshly baked cookies are available during the day at the Ice Cream Bar.
Crystal Serenity features an exceptional variety of dining options including its main Crystal Dining Room, two specialty restaurants and Room Service available 24 hours.
The extraordinary cuisine for which Crystal Cruises is justifiably famous is offered in our elegant Crystal Dining Room, located in the heart of the ship just off the Crystal Plaza. The Crystal Dining Room is beautifully appointed, with sweeping ocean views by day and a magnificent ambiance at night. Our gracious European-trained waiters and internationally acclaimed chefs provide regionally inspired dishes and classic continental cuisine. The Crystal Dining Room offers the flexibility of two seatings to facilitate your dining preferences, and gives you the convenience of open seating at breakfast and lunch.
Casual poolside dining is offered on many evenings. Served from the Trident Grill (Tastes on Crystal Serenity), dinners on these relaxed, no-reservations evenings under the stars are a unique Crystal Cruises dining option.
Specialty Restaurants
The alternative specialty dinner restaurants offer exciting variety at no additional cost.
On Crystal Serenity, we feature contemporary Asian cuisine in the specialty restaurant Silk Road and The Sushi Bar, offering signature dishes created by internationally renowned Japanese master chef, Nobu Matsuhisa.
On Crystal Serenity our Italian restaurant Prego offers elegant dining with a spectacular view and unique Italian cuisine. No matter where in the world you are cruising, you'll have the option to enjoy Old World charm and authentic regional Italian cuisine, with signature creations by Piero Selvaggio, owner of the renowned Valentino restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Sometimes, after a long day's adventure ashore or a full schedule of activities on board, the very best option for dinner is to order in. Leave your formal wear in the closet and dine in your bathrobe and slippers, if you wish, with a full selection of delectable dishes from your In-Suite & In-Cabin Dining menu. You may also order from the evening's menu in the Crystal Dining Room, or request whatever your heart desires-our chefs will do their best to oblige your tastes. Those guests in our Penthouses who order In-Suite & In-Cabin Dining will be served by their butler, and also have the option of ordering from our specialty restaurants.

Dazzling Production Shows
Conceived and produced by our own creative in-house production staff, Crystal Cruises' Broadway-style shows are a highlight of every cruise. After dinner, stroll to the Galaxy Lounge to witness the talented Crystal Ensemble of Singers and Dancers in such spectacular original productions as Fascinatin' Rhythm, Million Dollar Musicals, COLE!, Curtain Call and many more!
The Galaxy Lounge is the venue for our award-winning production shows and a host of other evening performances. The showroom was custom-designed to offer perfect views from each of its seats, and features state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.
Variety Entertainment
Crystal Cruises features at least four variety performers from around the world on every cruise. These may include a classical musician, a Broadway vocalist, a pop singer, comedian, juggler, ventriloquist, instrumentalist or other respected performing artist.
Music & Dancing
Before and after dinner hours, musical entertainment and dancing are offered in a number of venues around the ship. Each lounge features a diverse array of performances from classical artists to ballroom dance bands. Our musical trio serenades you with classical melodies during Afternoon Tea and plays requests as they stroll through the Crystal Dining Room each evening.
Piano Bars
Soft piano melodies fill the Crystal Cove in the afternoons and each evening at cocktail hour. The popular Avenue Saloon features a pianist performing jazz and favorite tunes.
Crystal Cruises exclusively features Caesars Palace at Sea® casino, run by the world-famous Las Vegas gaming operation. Each spacious facility houses blackjack tables, as well as mini-baccarat, craps, roulette, and more than 85 slot machines. The expert casino staff is employed by Caesars Palace.
A casino shipboard advance of up to $200 U.S. per person, per day, may be charged to the guest's shipboard account (up to a maximum of $2,000 U.S. per cruise). Please note that not all shipboard credits may be redeemed for cash-related gaming.
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter the gaming areas, or to play any monetary-based games of chance (including Bingo) on board.
Cruising is all about lifestyle: fine wining and dining, visiting exotic destinations and enjoying extravagant production shows. But today's guest is also interested in balancing the rich life of a cruise with health and fitness. If that sounds like you, then Crystal Cruises is your perfect vacation. From the wrap-around, all-outdoor teak Promenade Deck - one of the most popular features on all our ships, and one you won't find on many other large cruise ships - to a Spa with one of the world's best views, every Crystal cruise offers a variety of options for keeping fit and well.
On most cruises, a qualified PGA golf pro is on board to offer classes and clinics. There are driving range nets and a putting green, with a supply of practice clubs and balls. Crystal is pleased to offer Callaway® golf clubs on board; complete sets of Callaway clubs are also available for rental to use in ports where you may wish to play.
If golf isn't your game, how about paddle tennis or shuffleboard? You'll enjoy a full-size, enclosed paddle tennis court on the ship-top Sun Deck. For jogging, walking, stretching and fresh air, there's the Promenade Deck, nearly a quarter-mile around for walking or jogging. Our two pools, the indoor/outdoor Neptune Pool and the full-length Seahorse Pool and adjoining Jacuzzi®, are located on the Lido Deck. Sunbathe, snooze and read while enjoying a refreshing drink poolside in the afternoon.
Build Your Sea Legs with "Walk-On-Water"
Debbie Rocker's weighted vests have become one of the world's most popular exercise accessories. And now, Ms. Rocker brings these vests on board with an exciting new program developed exclusively for Crystal Cruises: "Walk-On-Water" (WOW).
Our Feng Shui-inspired Crystal Spa offers a wide range of treatments and Swedish massage, as well as aerobics, stretching and other exercise classes, an extensive line of professional exercise/workout equipment and a professional personal trainer. Sauna and steam rooms are located in the Spa, as are the massage therapy rooms.
Crystal Cruises' commitment to excellence and quality of experience does not end with our grown-up cruisers. Kids have a variety of great activities to choose from on every Crystal cruise! We offer a children's playroom and babysitting services on all cruises. During holiday cruises and selected sailings, additional children's activities are offered under the supervision of experienced Junior Activities Directors.
Our Junior Activities Program is Three-Tiered:
• 3-7 year olds
• 8-12 year olds
• 13-17 year olds
Children under six months are not permitted on board without a signed waiver by parent(s).
Hours of Operation
Hours of operation vary depending on the itinerary and number of children on board.
Activities
Activities are determined by age and the number of children on board. On those sailings with Junior Activities Directors, a detailed schedule of events is created at the beginning of each cruise. Once on board, you'll receive Surf Runner, or Teen Scene, the teenagers guide to special activities, our daily newsletter for kids with details for the following day's schedule and other pertinent information.
Fantasia, our children's playroom, offers tables and chairs for arts and crafts, popular Sony PlayStation® game titles, a large screen television set and board games. Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity also feature a teenager's video arcade, Waves. The Library offers children's books and children's videos or DVDs for enjoyment in cabins.
Dining
Kids may choose from a special Junior Cruiser's menu, and Crystal's executive chefs and other culinary staff can prepare custom dishes. The Trident Grill serves complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and more. Baby food, high chairs and booster seats are available.
Additional Services
For a small fee, all vessels offer in-cabin baby-sitting. Guests should contact the concierge on board for this service at least 24 hours in advance.
There are many components that go into most travelers' ideal image of the perfect vacation. Dining, dancing, sightseeing and, of course, shopping. Those guests who have visited the boutiques of Paris, New York and Milan will not be disappointed strolling Crystal Cruises' Avenue of the Stars, a 3,000 square-foot shopping area with shops offering a wide variety of merchandise carefully selected for our discerning guests. The shopping arcade features the following shops and boutiques:
• Facets
This luxurious and sophisticated shop contains exquisitely designed custom jewelry, as well as an exciting selection of world-famous collectibles and other gifts from around the world, including our Crystal Home Collection, featuring The Bistro's Guy Buffet porcelain tableware.
• Apropos
This upscale boutique features best-selling fragrances and Lancôme cosmetics, as well as formal wear and accessories for both ladies and gentlemen.
• Captain's Choice
Fine quality Crystal Cruises signature apparel, accessories, casual wear for men, as well as gifts for adults and children. Also on sale in Captain's Choice is a wide variety of convenience and sundry items, including film, candy and personal care products.
Throughout the day, our guests wear a casual mix of active resort wear. Dining room attire is casual during the day; however swimsuits are not appropriate. If you do not wish to change for an afternoon meal, alfresco dining on deck is available.
For days in port, be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes. Check with your travel agent for special items you might want to pack for your destination and the time of year you are traveling.
Each evening on a Crystal cruise has a specific dress code, which applies to all public areas of the ship after 6:00pm. Guests find that the occasional formal evenings create a special atmosphere in contrast to the other more casual evenings on board. The three codes of attire are casual, informal and formal. Typically, 10- to 14-day cruises have three formal nights. The number of informal nights is usually based on the number of days at sea, and casual nights are based on days in port and the time of departure.
Formal Evening Attire
We recommend evening dresses and gowns of fashionable length for ladies, and a tuxedo, dinner jacket or dark suit and tie for gentlemen.
Informal Evening Attire
Informal attire is appropriate for most evenings on board. For ladies, evening dresses, cocktail dresses or pantsuits are suitable. For gentlemen, we suggest a jacket and slacks; ties are optional.
Casual Evening Attire
On casual evenings, a more relaxed attire is accepted, such as casual dresses and pantsuits for ladies, and sports shirt and slacks for gentlemen. Ties and jackets are not required.
