Jewel of the Seas Overview
Last in Royal Caribbean’s Radiance class and one of Royal Caribbean International’s newest ships, Jewel of the Seas debuted May 8, 2004. Jewel of the Seas weighs in at 90,090 gross tons, accommodates up to 2,501 guests, and cruises at one of the fastest speeds of all the Royal Caribbean ships at 25 knots. This Royal Caribbean cruise ship sails you to your destinations faster and more comfortably adding speed, public space, and more balconies. In fact, Radiance class ships hold the highest percentage of outside cabins in the Royal Caribbean fleet. Additionally, Jewel of the Seas displays more glass than other cruise ships with almost half of the cruise ship’s surface covered in glass. Jewel of the Seas is equipped with a ten-story glass-constructed atrium, sea-facing glass elevators, and walls of panoramic windows; allowing you to truly soak in the scenery.
