Some highlights of the entertainment and activities you can enjoy onboard the Celebrity Equinox include:
The Lawn Club
The Celebrity Equinox’s half-acre, real lawn is larger than an Olympic-sized swimming pool, equivalent to over eight tennis courts, and three times larger than New York’s Rockefeller Center ice skating rink. A first at sea, the real grass sets the tone for the main-deck country club atmosphere known as ‘The Lawn Club’. Guests are invited to play bocce ball or croquet, enjoy a picnic with a basket of wine and cheese, show off their putting skills, or stretch out and take a nap in the warm sun. The surrounding patio affords the freedom of lounging in a chair with a good book, chatting over a cup of gourmet coffee with friends, or enjoying the beautiful views from the deck in the comfort of a casual, yet luxurious atmosphere.
Hot Glass Show
Celebrity Cruises is collaborating with the glassblowing expertise of the Corning Museum of Glass to produce the Hot Glass Show, which will provide demonstrations and live performances of glassblowing on the upper deck of the ship. The performances are designed to awe the audience with their art and beauty, as well as educate passengers about the history and science of glassblowing. The Hot Glass Show takes place in a custom-made, outdoor glassmaking studio, and will feature three highly skilled resident glassblowing artists.
Lounges, Bars, and Clubs
Passengers onboard the Celebrity Equinox will have a variety of lounges to choose from. Wine lovers can relax in the Cellar Masters wine bar, while cocktail enthusiasts can enjoy drinks at the frosted Martini Bar. Crush, a small alcove located off of the Martini Bar, is a place where passengers can gather around an ice-filled table for caviar and vodka tastings, or use the lounge for private events. Those looking for something musical can hang out at the Ensemble Bar, which will provide vocal and instrumental entertainment. In addition, passengers wanting to dance the night away can head to the Quasar Disco.
The Celebrity Equinox offers a full range of exercise and fitness activities including step aerobics, spinning, and strength building. You can also increase body awareness with a comprehensive yoga, Pilates, or body-sculpting class. Each fitness class is led by certified instructors who can help you improve your body and mind, regardless of your fitness level or experience. You can also use the fitness equipment onboard the Celebrity Equinox, which is state-of-the-art and includes lifecycles, treadmills, stairmasters, virtual reality bikes, free climbers, and rowing ergometers.
If you’re not sure what class to participate in or which equipment is best suited for your needs, Celebrity Cruises’ certified personal trainers will help you meet your goals by creating a customized fitness program just for you.
Indulge your mind, body, and spirit while onboard the Celebrity Equinox in the AquaSpa by Elemis where you can pamper yourself to a variety of treatments, ranging from deluxe manicures to luxurious facials to full-body massages. A day at the AquaSpa will leave you feeling renewed and peaceful.
The Celebrity Equinox has two different – but equally fun – venues onboard for kids of all ages to participate in. The first is the Fun Factory, which is aimed at 3 to 12-year-olds and the second is the X-Club for teenagers. Both are designed to ensure kids onboard have just as much fun as their parents and feature a variety of activities, including select family events.
You will need three types of clothing on your Celebrity Cruise: casual shipboard attire or day wear, conservative port wear, and evening wear.
Day wear includes slacks or pants, blouses or shirts, knit tops, or polo shirts. Bringing a pair of sneakers or rubber-soled shoes is also recommended for deck sports. In addition, a swimsuit cover-up is beneficial for cooler areas on the ship.
Port wear for women includes a casual dress, skirt and blouse, or pants outfit; for men, casual pants or walking shorts, and polo-type shirts. Wearing comfortable walking shoes is also highly recommended, as is bringing extra bathing suits, sun block, sun visors, and other types of sun protection.
On casual nights, a sport shirt and slacks is recommended for men, while women are advised to wear a pantsuit, skirt and blouse, or casual dress.
On informal nights, men are requested to wear a jacket, shirt, and slacks, while women may want to wear a suit or dress. Please note, jeans are not permitted.
For the formal nights – including the Captain’s Welcome Aboard Cocktail Party, dinner on the second night, and the Captain’s Farewell Dinner held the next-to-last night of the cruise – an evening gown for women and a tuxedo or dress suit for men is appropriate.
While on a cruise, if you have been given outstanding service and personal attention, it is customary to offer gratuities to those staff members. Celebrity Cruises suggests the following guidelines for all guests:

Assistant Waiter: $2.00 per day / per guest
