Built in 2008, the Carnival Splendor introduced the new Splendor class of ships from Carnival Cruises, and at 113,300 tons, it is one of the largest Carnival Ships to date. One of the new highlights onboard the Carnival Splendor is its 21,000-square-foot Cloud 9 Spa with spa cabins providing private access to the spa. For entertainment, the Carnival Splendor provides 22 bars and lounges, a video arcade, a main pool deck with retractable sky dome, and an inviting theater for shows and performances. Kids onboard can look forward to Camp Carnival for ages 2 – 11, Circle ‘C’ for ages 12 – 14, and Club 02 for ages 15 – 17.
