Carnival Splendor is one of Carnival Cruise Line’s newest, largest, and most innovative ships ever. Carnival Splendor will dazzle all cruisers with her beauty, outstanding features, and latest and greatest amenities, including: Carnival’s Seaside Theatre, a retractable Sky Dome, an expanded Camp Carnival, and Carnival’s most spectacular spa ever.
Main Dining
The main dining room of Carnival Splendor is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a true culinary experience featuring savory selections, including lobster. Carnival collaborated with world-renowned French master chef, Georges Blanc, who created exclusive selections for Carnival guests to enjoy.
Specialty Dining
Specialty dining is also available for a nominal fee and you can enjoy decadent food in restaurants such as the elegant and reservations-only Supper Club, where you will enjoy top quality steaks, seafood favorites, and a splendid selection of wines.
Casual Dining
You can also choose to eat at one of the numerous casual dining options, which offers an array of options from sushi to pizza.
Carnival makes it easy to find a cabin that fits both your needs and your budget. Each cabin features the luxury of a Carnival Comfort Bed, soft carpeting, indirect lighting, lots of closet space, and individual climate control. Depending on your preference, you can be on a higher deck, closer to the pool area, more conveniently located to your dining room, steps away from the duty-free shops, or if you’re a parent, closer to the children’s facilities. The ship also features connecting cabins for families and groups of friends.
Shows
Experience the music, dancing, lights and costumes that make each stage show on the Carnival Splendor an amazing extravaganza. Every effort has been made to ensure each night feels like opening night. In addition, catch a rising star at one of the wide variety of shows that feature singers, comedians, bands, and musicians who perform nightly out on deck or in one of the many clubs and lounges. Whether it’s calypso, country, or rock, the Carnival Splendor offers a music act for everyone.
Bars and Nightclubs
On the Carnival Splendor you have variety of fun and unique bars to hang out in, one of which is the El Morocco Bar, which is styled after the famous 1930s New York club of the same name, and has palm trees and lanterns adorning the walls and murals of Moroccan scenes, as well as banquettes covered in zebra-patterned leather. Later on in the night, move on to one of the Carnival Splendor’s exciting nightclubs, such as the Red Carpet Dance Club, in which every guest is a celebrity as they walk the VIP line past a series of mannequins waiting on the other side of the velvet rope to enter.
The Carnival Splendor is home to the Royal Flush Casino, which in addition to offering a wide variety of gaming options, also is decorated to enhance the ambiance with royal flush hands set along the walls and characters on the cards emerging from the wall like sculptures. The ceiling is decorated as well, with card images that change into different hands.
One of the largest spas afloat, the Cloud9 Spawill feature 21,000 square feet of spa and gym facilities, as well as 19,000 square feet of spa-dedicated cabins, for a total of 40,000 square feet of dedicated spa space. You’ll discover a wide range of top-quality facilities and treatments in an elegant setting of tranquility. The extensive list of traditional treatments for both body and face, variety of fitness options, and private spaces for relaxation make for an onboard spa experience like no other.
Carnival offers fun and activities for children and teens of all ages.
Camp Carnival is open to children ages 2 through 11 and includes a wide range of fun activities designed for 3 different age groups. All are supervised by staff who are either college educated in a related field or have professional child-care experience. A counselor assigned to your child’s age group will greet you as soon as you visit Camp Carnival. Activities for Camp Carnival are conducted all over the ship, but many events for smaller children are held at the Camp Carnival headquarters, where they can have fun with games, arts and crafts, and even their own outdoor wading pool.
Circle “C” is where 12 through 14-year-olds can have fun and make new friends while participating in games, parties, and other supervised activities that are created specifically for their age group.
Carnival’s CLUB 02 is a popular place for 15 through 17-year-olds and it blends friends, music, entertainment, sports, and style for an unforgettable teen-themed cruising experience.
Depending on the night of the cruise, either formal dress or casual resort wear is required in the dining room for both adults and children. If there’s a night you don’t want to dress up, you can head to the Lido restaurant, which is open nightly (except for the last evening of the cruise) and has a casual dress code.
