The 88,500 ton, 2,124 guest capacity Carnival Spirit was originally constructed in 2001 and underwent a full-scale refurbishment in 2006 to include some of the more modern Carnival Cruises’ favorites. Introducing the Spirit-class of ships, the Carnival Spirit was the first ship from the cruise line to include a wedding chapel and an additional Supper Club for more exquisite dining. The fitness center onboard the Carnival Spirit is another popular spot, with expansive ocean views and a central hot tub for relaxation. Kids onboard can enjoy their own dedicated zone, a 2,400-square-foot play area known as the ‘Fun House’ in addition to the popular Camp Carnival.
