The Carnival Dream will be the largest ship in Carnival Cruises’ fleet and will be the most innovative of Carnival’s resort-like ‘Fun Ships’. The 130,000-ton Carnival Dream will accommodate 3,646 guests and comes equipped with enough fun for everyone onboard. Featuring the largest spa ever built by Carnival, an indoor / outdoor entertainment complex called Ocean Plaza, and the Carnival WaterWorks, which has become a passenger favorite, the Carnival Dream includes more deck space, a greater number of cabin categories, a wrap-around outdoor promenade, and more.
Onboard the Carnival Dream, the dining venues will be inviting, the menus elaborate, and the cuisine mouthwatering. From breakfast at the start of each day, through lunch, dinner, and drinks before turning in, the restaurants available on the Carnival Dream will offer great selections to satisfy your hunger and plenty of extras to tantalize your senses. The 24-hour Lido Buffet will be perfect for whenever the appetite awakens, and among its array of options and extensive children’s menu, lobster will be offered on each sailing. The Supper Club will present an intimate, reservations-only environment where expertly prepared plates, elegant wines, and chic styling are the main course. At any time during a cruise onboard the Carnival Dream, guests will be able to enjoy a snack or full meal from the comfort of their cabins through Carnival’s 24-hour room service.
As Carnival’s largest ship to-date, the Carnival Dream will boast a greater variety of cabin categories than ever before. From the interior cabin to the penthouse suite, each cabin will provide the perfect setting for relaxation, escape, and quiet moments en route to every destination. The Carnival Dream will feature new ‘cove balcony’ cabins that are found closer to the water line and superb mattresses, soft pillows, and plush blankets in all cabins will ensure that guests have an inviting place to retire and enjoy the sweetest dreams onboard. During the day, laughter and music will fill the air as guests enjoy live calypso bands and tropical drinks by the pool, entertaining rounds of putt-putt golf with the kids, exhilarating water slides, energizing basketball games, and much more. Inside the ship, lounges, theaters, shops, and more will invite guests to spend the day exploring all of the different possibilities. At night, the fun onboard the Carnival Dream will extend until the early morning, with movies by the pool, fabulous night spots, comedy and theatrical shows, and a casino that is never short on surprises.
For excitement, fun, and an unforgettable time with friends, guests onboard the Carnival Dream will be able to try their hand at blackjack, roulette, slot machines, and more inside the ship’s casino. The Carnival Dream will allow guests to pursue rejuvenation and health while onboard through the ship’s fitness center. Aerobics, Pilates, spinning, and yoga are a sampling of what energetic passengers will be able to enjoy in addition to weights, a jogging track, and a wide variety of exercise equipment. Through huge windows, guests of the fitness center will have a panoramic view of the ocean as they focus on mind and body during their work-out regimen.
Guests will discover dream-like pampering and self-indulgence while taking advantage of the Carnival Dream’s spa facilities. From exhilarating massages to cleansing masks and therapies, the ‘Cloud 9 Spa’ with be the largest in the Fun Ship fleet and will introduce guests to a blissful state of relaxation and vitalization. Men and women inside the ‘Cloud 9 Spa’ will be privileged to tailored services as experienced professionals administer loofah treatments, facials, water therapies, body wraps, and more.
Kids are the focus of several programs and services that will be onboard the Carnival Dream, and Carnival will offer professional child-care staff to assist with each just-for-kids event, venue, or program. Camp Carnival will be open to children ages 2 through 11 and will include a wide range of fun activities for young cruisers. Circle “C” is where 12 through 14-year-olds will have fun and make new friends while participating in games, parties, and other supervised activities that are created specifically for their age group. Carnival’s CLUB 02 will be a popular place for 15 through 17-year-olds, and it will blend friends, music, entertainment, sports, and style for an unforgettable teen-themed cruising experience.
Inside the Carnival Dream’s atrium, guests will find hours of enjoyment perusing the various shops and extensive onboard library. From duty-free locations to art displays, each guest will have the opportunity to find a special souvenir or the perfect gift or simply to expand their wardrobe with distinct Carnival attire.
Depending on the night of the cruise, either formal dress or casual resort wear will be required in the dining room for both adults and children. If there’s a night you don’t want to dress up, you can head to the Lido restaurant, which will be open nightly (except for the last evening of the cruise) and will have a casual dress code. Formal Wear: tuxedo (optional); suit and tie; sport coat, tie, and slacks; evening gown; cocktail dress; pantsuit. Casual Resort Wear: sport shirts and slacks; dresses; skirts; pantsuit. NOTE: Shorts, t-shirts, and bathing attire will not be permitted in the dining room during dinner.
