Dining

Main Dining
Azamara Journey’s main dining room, Discoveries, has amazing nightly selections, and you will be served superior versions of classic dinner favorites, like drunken shrimp linguini with ancho chili-tequila sauce or filet mignon with black truffle sauce. Guests can fully savor their dishes with a house wine that is paired with lunch and dinner selections.

Casual Dining
Azamara Journey is committed to delicious dining ship-wide. Relaxed eateries outside the main dining room include Windows Café, with a dessert menu to die for; the Pool Grill, where tasty pizza or burgers pair with a day under the sun; and Cova Café featuring delicious pastries and sweets. Specialty coffee and teas, bottled water, and sodas will be available to guests at no charge in public venues and cabins.

Specialty Dining
The air is electric in anticipation of mouth-watering cuisine inside Azamara Journey’s two specialty restaurants, Aqualina and Prime C. With Aqualina’s brilliant infusion of Mediterranean favorites, guests may be distracted from the beautiful ocean-scape passing by the restaurant’s panoramic view. Prime C offers oceanviews floor-to-ceiling to pair with fine wine and exquisitely prepared choices of steak and seafood. Suite guests will receive complimentary dining in Azamara Club Cruises’ decadent specialty restaurants, and guests in the Club Veranda, Club Oceanview, and Club Interior cabins will be able to enjoy these restaurants for a $15 cover charge.

The accommodations onboard Azamara Journey are luxurious and comfortable, providing the perfect blend of relaxation, attention, and serenity. Highlights onboard Azamara Journey includes English butler service for suite guests and plenty of Club Veranda staterooms to provide the ultimate cruising experience.

Suites
In addition to the amenities of a cabin, suites will include: priority check-in and departure, priority luggage delivery, English butler service, complimentary dining at Prime C and Aqualina, complimentary garment pressing of two items per person, in-suite spa service opportunities, private portrait sitting, designer showerhead, and welcome champagne.

Cabins
Cabins on Azamara Journey will include fresh fruit daily, fresh flowers, 24-hour room service, afternoon canapés, complimentary shoe-shine service, a 23’ plasma TV, personal stationery, complimentary coffees and teas, bottled water, and soda, new European bedding, complimentary use of binoculars, umbrellas, and plush robes, and as a finishing touch, candies left on your pillow each evening.

With over 20 enticing martini creations, the Martini Bar couldn’t have a more descriptive name. Whether your taste is sweet or bold, the Martini Bar has a special drink for everyone. Exploration is encouraged.

Looking Glass
What could be more beautiful than a nightspot with soft leather furniture and Murano glass sculptures? Only if that venue also featured floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the vast ocean! At the Looking Glass, don’t be surprised if you find yourself enjoying the stars while dancing the night away.

Azamara Cabaret
The Azamara Cabaret will capture your attention during one of their many destination-influence entertainment, enrichment programs, and exciting shows. Talented singers and performers showcase their skills in a theater designed to allow unobstructed views and comfortable seating around low-profile tables for cocktails. As a valuable service to guests, the Azamara Journey also provides a Port Guide who is ready to answer questions and give direction and tips on shopping at any of the ports of call.

Dress Code

Resort wear is acceptable for both men and women while in port or on the ship. For warmer climates, this includes walking shorts and polo shirts, swimsuits and cover-ups, lightweight slacks or skirts, and light sweaters. When visiting cooler climates, casual clothing that can be easily layered for warmth or comfort is recommended, along with a raincoat or umbrella, a waterproof hat, and gloves. On all cruises, Azamara Club Cruises recommends bringing along comfortable, rubber-soled shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

There are no formal nights onboard the Azamara Journey; therefore, your evening attire is up to your mood. The dressiest that you ever have to be is resort casual – even in the ship’s specialty restaurants. This would entail khaki slacks and polo-style shirts for men and perhaps a casual skirt or pants with a comfortable blouse for women.

Dining in jeans, t-shirts, shorts, tank tops, or swimsuits detracts from the overall atmosphere of the ship and doing so is not allowed in the main dining room after 6:00 p.m.
